Ljubljana University Symphonic Winds sprang up per initiative of the university’s students and their conductor Simon Perčič in spring 2007. Such a musical assembly is unique in our country because it looks up to the so-called “symphonic winds”. More: UpoL.

OrkesterkamP (Orchestracamp) is an annual seminar for young musicians. It's primary goals are performances of top-level and atractive literature for Symphonic winds as well as individual and chamber music masterclasses. More on OrkesterkamP.

The goals of the International Musical Competition UPOL-ova svirel are solistic performing, experience exchange between young musicians, motivation for further musical study as well as searching for new talents with promoting orchestral culture. More info and registration on Upol-ova svirel.
