OrkesterkamP 2010

OrkesterkamP (Orchestracamp) is an annual seminar for young musicians. It's primary goals are performances of top-level and atractive literature for Symphonic winds as well as individual and chamber music masterclasses. The festival part of our seminar is being held by internationally acknowledged orchestras, soloists nad conductors.

Slovenian coast with its pleasant location as well as social gathering and teachers with good references are an assurance for quality of the program as seen from the large number of participants every year. Anybody who would like to participate in the upcoming OrkesterkamP (23th - 28th August 2009) will find here an application form latest in spring 2010.

Please see biographies of professors at the 5th OrkesterkamP 2010, to be held in Avditorij Portorož/Portorose 23th-28th August 2010. This year Johannes Stert (www.johannes-stert.de) and Chiara Vidoni will join us as conductors. Maestro Stert will give masterclasses for conductors as well. We invited two professors for additional instruments - Tanja Mršnjak Petrej (oboe, bassoon) and Željko Kertez (tuba). New names are also Dejan Prešiček (saxophone) and Ivan Bošnjak (trombone).

mt_ignoreThe fifth international festival »UPOL OrkesterkamP 2010« is organized by the UPOL orchestra of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This years, the festival will host the extraordinary maestro Johannes Stert, guest in many worldwide opera houses and winner with his orchestra of national competitions in Germany. The senior orchestra joint with a choir, will perform The Queen Symphony, by Tolga Kashifa, arr. E. Somers.
The conductor of the junior orchestra will be the well-known Chiara Vidoni, whereas our staff of professors will welcome some of the most successful pedagogues, such as Dejan Prašičen (saxophone), Tanja Mršnjak Petrej (oboe), Ivan Bošnjak and Željko Kertez (both members of the Opera house in Zagreb, Croatia - first trombone and tuba).
Come and participate in a music adventure with excellent professors and guest orchestras. Join one of the many chamber orchestras and play in the top wind orchestra at the OrkesterkamP 2010 festival!  For the Big orchestra musicians at the age of 15 years or over will be accepted (Avditorij/Stert), whereas younger ones will be assigned to the Junior orchestra (Dijaški dom/Vidoni).
